Bangs

It really is a miracle, with all the craziness in our house (and the recent introduction of scissors to a certain almost-4-year-old) that we haven't had a scissor "incident" until today...
Today, McKenna got bangs...

We tried to make them look as intentional as possible.
McKenna is now officially the first Jensen daughter with bangs and she doesn't seem to mind too much! I guess now Mom & Dad are the ones that need to get used to them...
And of course Katie is now asking for bangs too :)

I think she looks darling with bangs! I would never guess that they weren't intentional (c:

I think they look great. It says you tried to make them look intentional...who did it?

Claire had a hair cut from Evan when they were around 3 and 5. I was busy on the computer, and didn't even know what was up. It wasn't until Greg got home from work and asked "Claire got a hair cut?" that I knew anything about it. Claire in deed got a hair cut, and by evidence of the hair throughout the house we could tell that she did not stand still for the trim - and because it was done while they were on the move - Evan never reached her bangs - but Aunt Mary spiffed up the cut and it ended up so cute people gave Claire lots of compliments and I worried she'd think it a good thing to have Evan cut her hair! McKenna looks great.

She will probably be more comfortable without the hair in her face.
I remember when Julie wanted to be like Laura Ingles on Litte House on the Prairie and not have bangs. What she didn't realize was that Laura's hair was long and pulled back, but Julie just cut her bangs off to the quick right next to her forhead. It takes along time for bangs to grow at at such a short length. They stick up and out for ever.
