One of the outtings Grandma took the big girls on was to see Cinderella at the Alpine Community Theater. Grandma treated us to the Princess Party that took place right before the show. It was a treat!
They dressed up for the occasion and were greeted at the door by the Queen:
Next they were glitterized - makeup and hair:
They made a craft - a personalized crown magnet:
Then it was time for their VIP tour of the castle.
Katie was put right to work helping Cinderella with her chores:
And they even got to meet the mice:
Then they were presented before the royal court.
They got to visit with Cinderella in her pumpkin carriage, dance with the Prince, and try on the glass slipper to see if they were true princesses. The girls ate it all up.
Presenting - Princess McKenna:
Presenting - Princess Katie:
And what Princess Party is complete without tea and cakes?
These were two very happy princesses!
Thank you Grandma for a wonderfully unforgettable princessy afternoon!

How fun! That sounds like a dream come true!
We babysat Katie one night, just after we were married and lived in Provo. The whole night she tried wearing my Cinderella shoes and when she wasn't wearing them she was carrying one around, clutched in her arm. She has known for a LONG time she is a princess. ;-)
What a fun memory.
Thanks for sharing.
Love to my special Jensen Princesses. xoxox
I'm sure the girlies had a blast and will remember it for years to come. I'm just wondering who in the world did the queen's makeup??? 'Cause I haven't seen that much rouge on someone since the circus.... Just saying.
